3 Days tour from Ouarzazate to Zagora Erg Lihoudi

Experience the beautiful sand dunes of Sahara. Go on camel rides, try sandboarding, enjoy unforgettable sunsets and an amazing starlit sky. Sleep in a nomadic tent and spend fun time with hospitable nomads. On the way to Sahara we follow an ancient caravan route, pass Draa valley where Berbers grow dates, see the “tea mountain” Jbel Kissane, visit ceramic village Tamegroute with colorful, handmade ceramic. On the way back we follow the route of rally Paris-Dakar and visit the carpet village Taznakht.

We leave Ouarzazate in the morning by 4×4 towards Agdz, then to Zagora through the ancient caravan road. We have lunch in Zagora. In the afternoon, we leave for M’Hamid to arrive at a camp in the dunes of Erg Lihoudi. Camel ride for 2 hours before the sunset.

After your breakfast, we return to M’hamid by camels (2 hours camel ride). Then, departure to Chegaga by 4×4, crossing different desert landscapes. We arrive at a camp with Berber tents where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, we explore the dunes to enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

After your breakfast in the desert, departure by 4×4 to cross over 90 km in the desert through Iriqui Lake. We stop for lunch in Foum Zguid. In the afternoon, we continue to Ouarzazate through Taznakht. We arrive in Ouarzazate around 17h.
