Overview:
During this 9 days tour, we will explore Marrakech with a local guide. And drive to the desert region, visiting the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, then get to see the sights in the city of Ouarzazate. You will have an overnight a Berber traditional Camp, which comes complete with camel trekking across the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Drive by the middle Atlas Mountains to Fes, where you will have a full day to explore this city. Then start along tour visiting the imperial cities of Morocco, to Meknes (visiting the Roman ruins of Volubilis), Rabat (the capital of Morocco), Casablanca, and Marrakech.

Tours Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech Airport
After meeting you at the airport on arrival of the flight, we transfer you to your hotel Free day in Marrakech to see all places not seen before: After breakfast in the Riad, you will enjoy the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Minaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square, where you ‘ll find a wide variety of outdoor activities. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, and then in the afternoon visit the gardens at Majorelle and have a short tour at Gueliz -the new city of Marrakech. After dinner, you will have the option to walk through the square entertained by magicians, story-tellers, tooth-pullers, and food sellers. Overnight accommodation in your Riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Valley Dades
we will start our tour after you have breakfast at your hotel, driving over Morocco’s highest road pass through the Atlas Mountains – the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m. On the way, you’ll see stunning views and witness Morocco’s ever-changing landscape, between numerous Berber nomads. This road will take us to the Kasbah TELOUET one of the best-preserved. Visiting many of its incredible places with beautiful crafts that are still standing. Coming out of the mountains we will arrive at the hilltop village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the scene of more than a dozen Hollywood films like Babel, Gladiator, Sahara, etc.. Here we will stop for lunch and you’ll have time to tour the village. After lunch, we will continue Ouarzazate through the road of thousand KASBAHS, on our way to the Dades Valley. You will spend the night in a riad/hotel in Dades Gorge.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Todgha Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will drive to Todra Gorge, with its high, almost vertical rock walls. They are basically almost vertical rock formations caused by erosion from water and wind. We will open ourselves to the desert road passing through the palm grove of Tafilalet and several Berber villages before arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon. Check-in the hotel on foot of dunes, where you can walk the fine sand of the Erg Chebbi Morocco, You’ll enjoy the breathtaking scenery. At night you will enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebby – Camel Trek and overnight in Berber Camp
After breakfast in the hotel/Riad, you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people – originally slaves brought from Sudan -to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. Back to your hotel for some rest. In the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand-sea of Merzouga. Overnight in the Berber tent, where You will enjoy a Berber dinner. The silence and beauty of the Sahara will amaze you. For your convenience, the camp is equipped with western bathrooms.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes
Early morning wake up to see another great show of sunrise happened in the dunes of the Sahara, opens a departure from Sol. After having breakfast and a shower, you will climb back on the camels back to the hotel where our driver is waiting for you. We continue our walk towards Moroccan land Rissani, a traditional town that was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Timbuctoo in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled, to Erfoud. Cross the impressive Ziz Valley, with more than 18,000 palm trees to reach Midelt, a city with major apple production. Stop for lunch and continue towards Fez, passing by a cedar forest where you can feed and photograph a community of friendly monkeys that inhabit this place and Ifrane better known as the Moroccan Switzerland. Arriving in Fez, another of the four Imperial cities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Full day to explore Fes with a local guide
This day you will have an explorative journey of the Medina where you will visit the many hidden treasures that only the inhabitants of the place know about. Fes served as the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world. Your guided tour will take you to Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains, and the Tanneries. After lunch, you will also view the exterior of the Royal Palace and walk through the famous Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, where you will have the option to visit one of the few living synagogues in Morocco. Your tour of Fes includes a short visit to the famous ceramic factory, and then you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.Overnight accommodation at your hotel or Riad.
Day 7: Fez – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat
After Breakfast at your hotel, we will drive to the imperial city of Meknes to visit the ancient Roman city ruins Volubilis. It was listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997, and stroll in Lahdim square in Meknes. Not far away we will stop for lunch. Then continue the road bound for the imperial city of Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco known as the city Gardens. you will visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V which is in the courtyard of the Hassan Tower. It houses the tomb of King and two children. It is characterized by its classic Arab-Andalusian style within the traditional Moroccan art.
Day 8: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech
Our private tour continues. After an early breakfast at the riad or hotel, we drive to Marrakech, passing through another Moroccan imperial city Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. You will visit the Mosque of Hassan II, situated on the Atlantic Ocean. It is the second largest after Mecca’s highest temple in the world. On the outside, it can accommodate about 80,000 people while in the prayer hall nearly 20,000. Arriving Marrakech in the evening. The night in the hotel or Riad.
Day 9: Marrakech Airport
After an early breakfast in your Riad, we will drive you to the airport for your flight back home and end of service.
